The Crystal Vein
The Old Mine is a one-floor area ("1 of 1") of dark timber frames and crystal clusters glowing in the dark. The official screenshots show the mining action up close — a LVL 81 Mimic Spider looming over the veins — and the developer's own clip is titled "Get Got While Mining Crystals in Crawler 3D": the mine is where crystals come from, and it bites.
Why You Come Here
"Crystals for a Portal — unlock fast travel" is the 4.5% achievement that names the mine's purpose. Crystals power the portal network between areas, so this short, single-floor dive is the trip that makes every other trip cheaper. The Mimic Spider ambushes are the price of admission.
